Welcome to our tournament web site and good luck to you in 2012. North Jersey Judo will be hosting 2 tournament this year at the Boys & Girls Club Of Wayne sanctioned by the United States Judo Federation.
Dates: April 15, 2012 & October 7, 2012
Our first tournament this year is a week before the USA Judo Senior Nationals. It's a great event to fine tune your skills prior to the big show in Irving, TX this year.
Tournament competition areas will be fitted with Zebra Tatami Mats
North Jersey Judo rents high quality Zebra Tatami Mats so competitors can rest easy knowing they are competing on a high quality surface. Below you will find important information concerning this tournament. Again I wish all competitors best of luck at the Garden State Judo Classic and through out the 2012 Judo tournament season.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE:
Anyone with a current member ship with USJF, USJI or USJA.
WHAT RULES:Modified IJF, True Double Elimination. No Chokes in any rank under Brown Belt.
MATCH TIME:
3 minutes. In case of a tie at the end of regulation, Golden Score will be in effect.
REGISTRATION AND WEIGH IN:
Pee wee boys and girls 4-6 yrs 9:00 - 9:30am
Boys and Girls 7-10yrs 9:30 - 10:00am
Boys and Girls 11-16 10:30 - 11:00am
All M-F Seniors 12:30 - 1:00pm

. Competitor Registration for first weight division is $40.00 up until April 6, 2012
. Competitors Registration for second division is $30.00 up until April 6, 2012
. Competitors Late Registration for first weight division is $50.00 day of tournament
. Competitors Late Registration for second weight division is $40.00 day of tournament
Awards:
All competitors in divisions 10 years old and under will receive an award for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place. All other divisions awards for 1st, 2nd and 2 – 3rd places.
VENDORS:
Tournament T-shirts will be on display for sale.
FOOD: Will be sold at the tournament site.
